A visit to the U.S. Embassy, Nairobi

U.S Embassy visit

On 11th July 2025, Prof. Patrick Maluki, chair of the Department of Diplomacy and International Studies, led IDIS students and members of staff to the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi for a talk on Diary of a Diplomat. They were addressed by senior U.S. diplomats, including the acting Chief of Mission, who shared powerful insights on diplomacy and public service.
