The University of Nairobi (UoN) hosted the first-ever Nairobi Environmental Diplomacy Symposium and the launch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' legacy publication, *"Celebrating 60 Years of Environmental Diplomacy,"* at UoN Towers.

Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Secretary-General H.E. Mr Salman Al Farisi formally launched the IORA Indian Ocean University Network (UNIOR) at Curtin University’s campus in Mauritius on Friday 15 November 2024.

On 17th of September at 1:30 P.M, a team of lecturers and students from the University of Nairobi's Department of Diplomacy and International Studies paid a visit to the embassy of the State of Palestine on the invitation of the ambassador H.E Hazim Shabbat.
