The launch marks the beginning of self-realization to the children of Kenya and beyond by the fact of knowledge that they are stakeholders in solving the world’s biggest problems through SDGs. Also the launch creates awareness to caregivers like parents and guardians to know that they play an important part by enabling their children bring SDGs solution to life.
The long wait is over. Joy was in the air and a celebration of its kind as the Department of Diplomacy and International Studies, acquired new offices at the newly constructed Wangari Maathai Campus.
The Green Campus, constructed in honour of the Nobel Laureate Prof. Wangari Maathai will be the home to the IDS, after the University Management kindly donated some offices for the teaching and learning and research.
The launch will also create awareness to caregivers like Parents and guardians to know that they play an important part by enabling their children bring SDGs solution to life. Specific objectives of these launch will be:
1. To create unstoppable momentum and excitement amongst the children to be advocates of change through Sustainable Development Goals.
