On October 12, 2023, the University of Nairobi, Department of Diplomacy and Internation Studies, Chairman Dr. Patrick Maluki, hosted Mr. Drew Giblin, the US cultural attaché.

Mr. Giblin paid a courtesy call to the Department of Diplomacy and International Studies as part of the Africa Center for the Study of the United States of America, which aims at: linking African and American scholars; convening Africa-US dialogues; providing data and information to US organizations; and hosting induction programs for African diplomats posted to the US. 

The US cultural attach Mr. Giblin was accompanied by Crystal Waiterkus, the public affairs officer; Susan Muriugi, a public affairs officer; and Caroline Grey, our Fulbright research associate.
