The HORN International Institute for Strategic Studies, in collaboration with the Africa Center for the Study of the United States (ACSUS) based at the University of Nairobi’s Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies (IDIS), conducted a roundtable discussion on Pre sident Ruto’s state visit to the United States and its implication on Kenya, on May 30, 2024 at the University of Nairobi Towers - 4th Floor- MLT 402, Nairobi, Kenya from 9: 00a.m - 12:30pm.
Dr Patrick Maluki, Director, Institute of diplomacy and International studies (IDIS) welcomed the quest and gave platform for Dr. Mustafa Y. Ali, founder and chairman, the HORN international institute for Strategic studies and Prof. Jack Odhiambo, Dean, Faculty of art and Social Sciences to give their opening remarks.
Various questions were raised and discussed in sections based on thematic areas from: History and Diplomacy, (Geo)politics and Bilateral Implications of the president’s visit to the USA.
