The Department of Diplomacy & International Studies today (20th feb 2024) hosted an international conference on The Role of Women In Diplomacy'. The conference explored the impact of women-led efforts in enabling the realization of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Ms. Tatiana Valovaya, Director General of the UN Office in Geneva delivered the keynote speech during the session. This is an important discussion considering that 3 of the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, Vienna and Nairobi are headed by women.

The conference was organized by the Department of Diplomacy & International Studies in conjunction with the United Nations, the Foreign Service Academy and Jade Communications
