The Department of Diplomacy and International Studies (DDIS) hosted Major General Jami C. Shawley, the Commanding General of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) today. Major Shawley was accompanied by Major General Fatuma Ahmed (KDF), and they discussed the current status of the US-Kenya Security Partnership at the University of Nairobi. The discussion took place through the African Center for the Study of the US based at DDIS. This center offers a platform to better understand the complexities and intricacies of the interactions between the United States and the African Continent.
