Printer-friendly versionPDF version

The research project examines Kenya‘s devolved system of government that came into effect with in 2013. The devolved system of government is articulated by the new constitution that was promulgated on the 27th of August 2010 but took effect in 2013 following the assumption of Office of  a new government. The study examines  this new system of governance and how it has impacted on the lives of Kenyans both negatively and positively. It also draws lessons for other African countries that might be interested in a similar  devolution process.
